An Online Hub For Islamic Montessori

IslamicMontessori.org is an online hub providing Montessori resources and support for Educators, Parents and Students interested in implementing the Montessori Method in line with Islamic teachings. Our aim is to build a tight-knit network of Muslim Montessorians across the globe who share the same passion for Montessori philosophy and Islamic education.

Through this website we’ll be providing resources, articles, training, an online store, as well as a members-only area where members can gain access to exclusive content, discounts & a forum to connect with fellow Muslim Montessorians.

This website is curated and maintained by Nusaibah Macadam – Montessori Teacher, Trainer & Consultant, Principal of Rumi Montessori School (Seremban, Malaysia) find out more about Nusaibah’s extensive work in Montessori education here

OUR VISION & MISSION

Our Vision

To become leading pioneers in Islamic education, changing the way education is approached and implemented, to ensure every individual has access to a broad and balanced education which unlocks the true human potential within each individual in order to actualise the true purpose of existence.

Our Mission

Our mission is to transform Islamic educational practice worldwide by establishing a holistic education model based on the Prophetic and Montessori approaches which serves the needs of all children, parents, educators and the wider community.

ISLAMIC MONTESSORI : A SYNERGISTIC MODEL - PROPHETIC & ISLAMIC EDUCATION

The principles of the Montessori method are Prophetic in spirit and so align in a complementary and synergistic manner to create a unique educational model. This unique and complementary blend of both models embodies the spirit of Prophecy and is an education that is alive with our ultimate purpose and connection. In this model of education, we have the opportunity to raise a generation who truly follow the example of our beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) opening the possibility of producing leaders, great thinkers, entrepreneurs, inventors, people engaged in charity and public benefit and above all, excellent Muslims who strive to please Allah. Our research shows that even on a global level this form of educational model is rare.
